As owners of Little Angels Day Nursery, we take great pride in our team of practitioners that we employ. We have a leadership team that supports, develops and rewards the staff for their hard work and dedication that they do on a daily basis.
We have a highly skilled team of practitioners that have a range of qualifications and experience to support the development of the children that we care for. Through regular supervisions and appraisals, we ensure staff training is kept up to date and relevant, this ensures the nursery is aware of any changes to the EYFS framework, safeguarding and other important information needed to keep children safe and secure.
Our staff have relevant childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid and attend safeguarding children courses. We have three Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) who upskill the staff within the rooms and oversee any safeguarding concerns within the nursery. Across the three sites we have three Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO’S) who support practitioners in identifying any children who may need additional support, the SENCO’s attend regular cluster meetings with the local authority and share relevant information with other staff.

The practitioners at each of the sites take pride in the nursery environments and provide safe, loving and homely environments for the children to explore taking into account the different needs and interests of the children.
It is important to our nursery that the practitioners are warm, kind and caring yet willing to join the children in their imaginative and often messy play. Practitioners provide language rich environments that are suitable and differentiate between the ages and stages of development.
